“Clayton has amazing passing shots. Great quality match.” Ludo
Brilliant match both!
Our player of the week this week is Evgeny Bogatyr (pictured). Evgeny played 2 matches last week, winning both and putting himself right back in the mix for a grand final spot. Evgeny started off with a 6-2, 6-1 victory vs Brandon and then took on the current leader of their group, Gianvito. Evgeny coming out on top 6-4, 6-2.
Great tennis Evgeny, best of luck for the rest of the season!
Some great match notes that highlight the Oz Tennis Leagues spirit 🙂
“Antonia was a great opponent with a very accurate serve and volley game. We had an epic encounter!!!” Lalit Pant, Sydney Inner West Tennis League
“It was such an enjoyable game, Euver and I have similar playing style which makes the match more interesting, we were literally running all around the court which was also a good workout in the end.” Jorge Nava, Adelaide West Tennis League
“Playing Marco is always a friendly affair, and he always makes you work hard to win games, and this match was no different. I got off to a quick start, before rallies and games evened up. I took the first set, before Marco took early control of the second set. Momentum then swung back in my direction to finish.” Andrew Holden, Brisbane South Tennis League
